The lindy Hop Society s offering swing dance lessons and events here in Arizona. Swing dance was created form a special style of Jazz music. This type of dancing is popular in many countries these days. Even though in different part of the world the style changes on preference. Based on the culture and music swing dance can take different colours.

Jazz Dance form and Ballroom forms are he two main types of swing dance you get to see. Since Lindy Hop falls under Jazz Dance category, you can expect to learn this style here this fall.

In a competition a couple can perform with random music. They have to come up with their moves on the fly, it is a real test of skills. Or a couple can perform to a single song which is pre selected. They get a chance to perfect their moves. Expect the very accurate and eye catching performance. Or the most fun competition where everyone compete individually and dance with random partners.

Swing dance is very popular as a social dance. Music is played by a do or live musicians. Mastering this skill will give you confidence in social life and a wonderful experience.
