Arizona Cardinals Hoping To Improve
The Arizona Cardinals is the oldest of the professional American football teams, operating in the USA. They are based in Arizona, Glendale and just outside Phoenix. Currently, the team is a member of the West Division of the NFC (National Football Conference) in the NFL (National Football League). Started in the year 1920, the team tasted its last NFL championship in the year 1947. By the year 1988, the Cardinals moves from St.Louis, Missouri to Arizona. After spending 17 years at Sun Devil Stadium, Tampe, the club is playing all games at University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale.

Starting from Paddy Driscoll (1920 - 1922) to Ken Whisenhunt (2007 to present), more than 36 Head coaches served the team so far. The 2008 Arizona Cardinals season is the team’s 21st season in Arizona, and 89th season in the NFL. There are expectations that the Cardinals will improve their 8-8 record from 2007. The Head coach is entering his second year, after he took charge.
ESPN Radio 860 is the Arizona Cardinals’ official radio station, which is famously known as KMVP. Paul Calvisi, Ron Wolfley and Dave Pasch are handling the broadcast. Most of the preseason games are broadcasted on telivision on channel 15, KNXV, a local ABC affiliate. Bill Lewis and Mike Goldberg are the official TV announcers. When the 2007 season was held, KTAR - ARM was the official chief station.
The next season is surely looking very promising indeed and though the chances of winning the title is very distant but certainly they can climb up the ladder in the Championship Table.
